Overview:
SA type pump is a single-stage, double-suction horizontal split centrifugal pump, suitable for factories, cities, mines, power stations, farmland, water conservancy projects and other fields. It is used to transport clear water without solid particles or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water, and the temperature of the medium to be transported is 0°C to 80°C. The maximum allowable inlet pressure is 0.6Mpa.

Structure description
1. The suction port and discharge port of the SA type pump are cast on the pump body in a horizontal direction and perpendicular to the axis. The pump body and the pump cover are horizontally separated, so that when the cover is uncovered to inspect the internal parts, it is not necessary to disassemble the pipeline and the motor. Viewed from the rotating end, the pump shaft rotates counterclockwise.
2. The main structure of this type of pump is basically the same except that there are several different structures of bearing parts and bushings.
Bearing structure: some pumps use ball bearings, lubricated with oil cups or splash oil with oil rings; some pumps use sleeve bearings inlaid with alloy bearing bushes, and a single-row radial ball bearing is installed at one end. The axial force of the double-suction pump is basically balanced, and part of the unbalanced axial force is borne by the single-row radial ball bearing.
Bushing structure: some pumps have a threaded bushing that doubles as a nut to fix the impeller; some pumps use two bushings at each end, one of which is threaded; some pumps use a bushing nut in addition to the bushing , to fix the shaft sleeve and impeller.
3. The main parts of this type of pump are: pump body and pump cover, impeller, shaft, sealing ring, shaft sleeve, bearing body, bearing, packing sleeve and packing ring, etc.
Except the shaft is made of high-quality carbon steel, and the bolts, screws, nuts, keys and other parts are made of steel, most of the other parts of the pump are made of cast iron.
The impeller of the pump, the sealing ring and the shaft sleeve in the packing part are all wearing parts, and can be replaced with spare parts after wear.
If the bearing part is equipped with an oil cup, it should be lubricated with calcium base oil. For bearings lubricated with oil ring splash oil, use No. 2 or No. 3 spindle oil.
4. The packing seal consists of packing sleeve, packing ring, packing and packing gland. The packing chamber is cast into the pump body and pump cover. The tightness of the packing must be appropriate, so that the liquid can seep out drop by drop. If it is too tight, the bushing will easily heat up; if it is too loose, the liquid will lose a lot, which will reduce the efficiency of the pump.
